March / April 2021 Advice, Support and Donations

Follow The White Collar Club Handbook on Twitter (@thewcchandbook) to read related Criminal Justice Reform articles as well as felon job opportunities.

3/3/2021  Sent two new exercise books to a client of White Collar Advice at FMC Lexington Camp to assist in her health journey.   Time at Camp is a great way to focus on your physical health and improving your mobility, achieve weight goals and return home healthier both physically and mentally.

4/8/2021  Sent ten new dictionaries to Appalachian Prison Book Project.  APBP has remained open and committed throughout the pandemic in supporting incarcerated people with books on a regular basis.  @thewcchandbook is proud to support them with monthly book donations.

By mailing books, creating prison book clubs, and providing tuition support for incarcerated people taking college classes, APBP celebrates creative expression and defends the liberties that make it possible; champions the freedom to read and write, recognizes the power of literature to transform individuals and societies; and supports educational, vocational, and personal development for people who are locked up. ” – appalachianprisonbookproject.org.

Due to COVID there continues to be restricted movement at Camps, which means less time for the gym, library, etc.   In an effort to ease some of the stress and boredom this causes on clients The White Collar Club Handbook has increased weekly magazine shipments and daily Corrlinks correspondence.
